PAINTING

I did  a painting project for our taxidermist.  One of his clients had taken an elephant and wanted something unique done with the ears.  They were split so the leather was thinner and there were 2 pieces.  It was cut into a more clean African continent layout and I was asked to paint the "Big 5" and outline the country borders.  I had never tried painting before but this is the result of the first ear!  The ear is about 2.5' x 3'.  Each animals head is approximately 6"-8".  This first one is now a wall hanging with a clock dial added to it.
